Q: How do you make a right angle jig?
When processing wood, a right angle jig is used.
By placing the jig, you can insert the chisel in a straight line and get a beautiful finish.
Now, to make this jig….
1: Plane a wide surface to make flat.This flat surface will be the reference surface.
2: Turn the flattened surface (the reference surface) over and plane the sides.
In this way, once the reference surface is determined, you can start planing the surface at 90 degrees to the reference surface.
In other words, you need to make sure that the reference surface is perfectly flat.
Also, the location where this jig is made is very important.
And the jig is made with these things in mind.
