I am currently working on a project to donate a torii to a shrine in Kyoto, and the whole process will be share for free.

I will explain how to construct a torii gate.
The theme is “How to make a template for Kasagi and Shimagi“.
Shimaki and Kasagi are placed on top of the torii gate. The point is the curve.
There are no rules when making a curve. Just make it the way you think it is beautiful.
The point of creating a curve is to be more natural.
We recommend a natural curve by bending the rod.
There are four curves: front, back, right side, left side.
Make a template so that you can make the same thing in all places.
