There are many row houses in Kyoto. We would like to purchase one of these small houses as an educational property and teach the next generation how to renovate.
We will use wood materials exclusively grown in Kyoto, emphasizing the use of locally sourced wood, known as “local production for local consumption.” The greatest advantage of using local wood is that it possesses qualities optimal for the region’s climate and environment. Additionally, by utilizing Kyoto-produced lumber, we contribute to funding the local forests, aiding in forest management and employment opportunities. Through the promotion of local wood consumption, we anticipate bringing new vitality to Japan’s forestry industry.
