In Japan, I call Joinery in two parts. In Japan, Joinery is roughly divided into two types according to their function.
1, 継ぎ手(Tsugite)
In the processing of wood, when two materials are in contact with each other, the members are connected so that they are in a straight line.
2, 仕口(Shiguchi)
In wood processing, a general term for processing methods that connect two materials at right angles when they are in contact with each other.
They support the structure of the building by using them properly in the right places to maximize their functionality.
For more information, I would like to meet and share it! I am looking forward to it!
